Alan Mularski Obituary
Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Family Life Church. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Alan was born March 18, 1950 in Detroit, MI to John and Julie Mularski. He grew up in Detroit, attended Wayne State University, and became a millwright through an apprenticeship at General Motors where he spent 34 ½ years. Alan married Jerri Lynn Dill in 1978 and celebrated their 46th anniversary last December.
He enjoyed spending time with the dogs, Skyrim, old movies, cutting the grass, and of course, his family. He spent his last few years learning all sorts of new things from Magic: The Gathering to his continued study of American history.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Julie Mularski; two beloved brother-in-laws and a nephew.
Alan is survived by his wife Jerri; children Lauren Greeno and husband James, Rebecca “Zippy” Mularski, and Ruthann Bauman and husband Eric; grandchild Thaddeus “Thad” Bauman; sister-in-laws Beth Nowak and Ellen Mullins, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces/nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to a local animal rescue of your choice in lieu of flowers.
