Joanne Morscheck was born on September 17, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan and died on February 4, 2026 in Leesburg, Florida after a valiant war with Parkinsons. She was born to Marvin Worley and Elizabeth Worley. She grew up in St Clair Shores, MI where she graduated from High School before graduating from Bryan College in Chattanooga, TN with a degree in education. She taught grade school in the Warren, MI school system while she attended night school at Wayne State to get a Masters degree. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Tim Morscheck and two daughters, Shannon King [William] and Melody Steensma [Tim}. She is grandmother to three grandchildren Wyatt, Morgan and Maysen Steensma. She is also survived by sisters MaryAnn Brooks {David} of Bothell, WA; Ruth Smith of St Clair Shores, MI; and Lois Miller [Al], of Mt Clemens, MI. She leaves behind many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. After moving to the Kalamazoo, MI area in 1981 she returned to teaching at a local pre-school. She loved working with the young girls in the Heart Life program at our church. She loved to decorate, do crafts and entertain guests at our summer home. A memorial service will be held at Berean Baptist Church in Portage. MI at a time to be announced.

Celebration of Life service at Berean Baptist Church, Portage, MI at 10 AM, Saturday, March 28th.
