Alan Pindegayosh Obituary

Niigaanii-binesii, Alan Pindegayosh, age 73, of Onamia, MN passed away on November 11, 2025. A Visitation held at 5 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Baadwewidang Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation. The Funeral Ceremony held at 10 AM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Baadwewidang Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation with Baabiitaw officiating. Interment will be in the Vineland Burial Grounds. Arrangements are with the LeMieur Funeral Home in Onamia.

Niigaanii-binesii, Alan Pindegayosh was born on February 11, 1952, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Michael Leonard and Theresa Jean (Shingobe) Pindegayosh. He was an adventurer and went where life took him in the Midwest often for months at a time. He was an artist who loved to draw and sketch. He liked to spend his time playing racing games on his PlayStation and watching NASCAR.

Alan is survived by his son, Adam Monroe; daughter, Jessica Monroe; sisters, Elisse Aune, Mary (Greg) Gerke, Patricia Pindegayosh; and many loving grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theresa (Shingobe) and Michael Pindegayosh; brother, Dale Pindegayosh; sister, Shelley Pindegayosh; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and relatives.
