Alan Joseph Webster, age 67, of Dupo, Illinois, passed away at his home on February 23, 2026.

Alan was born June 4, 1958, in East St. Louis. He attended St. Phillip Grade School and later moved to O’Fallon, IL, where he graduated from high school in 1976. He went on to study the trades and built a long career as a truck driver, working for several companies, including Brenntag, and later as an independent owner-operator leased to several local freight haulers. Al enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He was especially proud of his role as “Uncle Al,” a title he carried with love.

He is survived by his brother, Milton Webster of O’Fallon, IL; Mary Webster; sister-in-law, Teri Cannon-Webster of Mascoutah, IL; nephews, Mark (Megan) Webster and Mike (Jodie) Webster; niece, Kari (Ryan) Kinzel, (née Webster); nephew-in-law, Ryan Hinrichs; nine great nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Lisa, Denise, Frank, Moe and Moe, and Jerry and Linda Frerker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Marjorie Webster (née Shedelbower); his brother, Larry Webster; and his beloved niece, Lori Hinrichs, (née Webster).

Al will be remembered for his quiet kindness, his steady presence, and the special role he played in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

A gathering to celebrate Al’s life will be held this summer. Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O’Fallon, is serving the Webster family. An online guestbook is available at www.wfh-ofallon.com
