Alan Robert Zanzig of West Columbia, Texas passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 73.
Alan was born on February 5, 1952 in Ohio and he lived a life full of love, hard work and devotion to his family. He had a true passion for his cars. Alan always had a project in progress with a hands on spirit. He had a love for building, fixing and improving things. His love for fishing and the out of doors gave him peace. Quiet moments and time spent with people he cared about most was his favorite pastime.
Alan is survived by his children, John Zanzig (Michelle) and Jennifer Zanzig; step-children, Helena Webb (John), William Petty (Mary-Ann) and Lisa Petty as well as numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by is parents, wife, Dollie Zanzig; son, Allen Zanzig and step-son, Leonard Petty.
Alan will be deeply missed and forever loved by all that knew him.
