Alane J. Junkins

Alane J. (Hood) Junkins, 68, of Haverhill, passed away on February 6, 2026 peacefully with family by her side at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Alane was born in Beverly on September 24, 1957 to Chester and Janice (Holmes) Hood. She was a graduate of Triton High School and worked locally for many years as a cab driver for Courtesy Cab. She was a homemaker with a big heart and loved spending time with her family. Alane was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her sons Jason A. Hood and his wife Janis of Danville, NH, and Michael Junkins of Haverhill; her daughters Jenna Skibici and her husband Daniel of Raymond, NH, and Peggy Junkins of Haverhill; and her grandchildren: Christopher Hood, Kayla Thorpe, Kyle Junkins, Logan Hood, Andrew Buswick, Cameron Buswick, and Tyler Skibici. She also leaves behind Kenneth Robinson; and her brothers Alan Hood of Seabrook, Barry Hood of Gloucester, and David Hood of Byfield, and her sister Robin Foxhardy, and several nieces and nephews.
