Ms. Alba Azucena Romero, age 83, of Sanford, NC, transitioned to eternal rest on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.

Obituary

Alba Azucena Romero was born in Estelí, Nicaragua on August 28, 1942. She was the daughter of Jose M Rojas and Susana Ordóñez. On January 10, 2026, in Pinehurst, North Carolina, she
passed peacefully at the age of 83, to joineth Our Lord, her devoted Husband, Adrián De Jesús Romero and her Parents in the Glory of the Lord.

She dedicated her life to her family, and serving The Lord through the Worship Choir at her Church. She was joyful and rejoiced around her children, grandchildren, and great children. She
was a hard-working woman, modest, had a love for flowers and cats, brave, and always eager to help others.

Alba Azucena was a pillar in our family, a loving mother and an inspirational grandmother. She will be survived by her four children, José, Abelardo, Adriana, Luis (Crystal Romero RIP), and
by her nine grandchildren, Joshua (Judith Sanchez), Naomi Romero-Dyson (Tyler Dyson), Martha, Anthony, Schuleta, Seri y Simón. Her six great granddaughters Ziva, Xyla, Eleanor, Elaina, Serenity y Shamira. As well as three sisters and two brothers, nieces and nephews, along with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many family members and friends.

Alba Azucena Romero nació en Estelí, Nicaragua el 28 de Agosto de 1942. Hija de José M Rojas y Susana Ordoñez. A la edad de 83 ella partió para reunirse con nuestro Padre Celestial y su querido Esposo, Adrián De Jesús Romero y sus Padres en la Gloria de nuestro Señor.

Falleció en Pinehurst, North Carolina rodeada por su familia, el 10 de Enero.

Ella dedicó su vida a su familia y a Nuestro Señor con la Alabanza en el Coro de la Iglesia. Fue una mujer trabajadora, humilde, afectuoso y gozaba de sus hijos, nietos, y bisnietas, también sus flores y mascotas.

Alba Azucena fue el pilar de nuestra familia, una madre cariñosa y una abuela ejemplar. Le sobreviven sus cuatro hijos, José, Abelardo, Adriana, Luis (Crystal Romero QEPD) y sus nueve nietos, Joshua (Judith Sanchez), Naomi Romero-Dyson (Tyler Dyson) Martha, Anthony, Schuleta, Seri y Simón. Sus seis bisnietas Ziva, Xyla, Eleanor, Elaina, Serenity y Shamira. Incluyendo sus tres hermanas, sus dos hermanos, sobrinos, y los hijos, nietos y bisnietos. También con su despedida deja mucha Familia y Amigos.
