Albert Richard Baca, 58 of Anton Chico, NM passed away on November 15 ,2024 at UC Health Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.
Albert was born on November 16, 1965 in Santa Fe, NM to Patricio and Marylou Baca. Albert attended school in Moriarty, NM, where he graduated from Moriarty High School. On November 11, 1991, Albert married the former Gaylynn Monroe in Moriarty. While living in Moriarty, Albert worked as a manager for McDonalds and was active in the Moriarty Fire Department and as an EMT.
Albert and his family moved to Santa Rosa, where he worked as a manager for McDonalds and he also worked for Gilbert Campos at T and D Grocery Store and at Denny’s. Some time ago, Albert moved to Anton Chico, where he currently resided. He was also a parishioner at San Jose Catholic Church in Anton Chico.
Albert is remembered for enjoying a glass of lemonade, while working on his tablet, however, his greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family and particularly his grandchildren.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings: Loretta Baca, Jake Baca, John Eloy Baca and Joseph Edward Baca, his granddaughter: Natalia Villanueva, his nephew: William T. Baca, II and his brother-in-law: Gary T. Apodaca.
Albert is survived by his wife: Gaylynn of the family home, his children: Brianna (Hilario) Villanueva and their children: Jose, Alexis, Hilario and Kylie Villanueva, Courtney Baca and her children: Sebastian Chavez, Jayda and Malakai Baca and Mario Baca (Angelica Cuellar) and their children: Aubrianna, Mario, Jr. and Julius Baca. Albert is also survived by his siblings: Patrick (Sandra) Baca, Billy (Billie) Baca, Dympha Baca, Catherine Apodaca and sister-in-law: Dorenda Saiz and his brothers-in-law: Rick (Lacey) Bently and Darren Santiago.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10am at San Jose Catholic Church in Anton Chico, NM. Burial will follow at Sangre de Cristo Cemetery in Upper Anton Chico, NM.
Urn Bearers will include Alexis Villanueva and Julius Baca, with Honorary Urn Bearers being all Albert’s grandchildren.
