Albert E. Bankier, age 74, passed away on February 5, 2025. A lifetime resident of Canton, he was born on January 11, 1951, to Eugene and Bernice (Clark) Bankier. Albert graduated from Old Lehman High School.
Albert retired from his career as a fuel truck driver after more than ten years of service. Albert stayed active through his games, from bingo to playing cards with family. He loved going to the casino and spending time with the Philomatheon Society of the Blind’s activities group. Albert also loved to fish.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darlene Bankier; sister, Norma.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Deana (Tim) Smith; granddaughters, Kari (Chris) Mirwald and Kearstin Smith; sisters, Karen (Bud) Senter and Eunice (Denny) Sumney; girlfriend and fellow bingo player, Heidi Smith.
Per Albert’s wishes, no services will be held. Albert will be interred at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at a later date.
