Albert Berns Obituary
LUXEMBURG, IOWA
Albert Berns, 65, of Luxemburg, Iowa passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Morris Funeral Home in Garnavillo, Iowa. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to take place in Garnavillo City Cemetery, Garnavillo, Iowa.
Albert was born on October 16, 1959, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Decellis and Lillian (Titlbach) Berns.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and spend his time out in nature. Most of his life, he spent his time being a truck driver until his retirement.
We would like to thank the staff at MercyOne in Dubuque and UW Health in Madison for their compassionate care during his last days
Survivors include his sister, Debra (Ambrose) Heisler of Farley; niece, Jessica Rhodes of Dubuque, nephew, Adam Rhodes (friend, Dana Goerdt) of Maquoketa; and a great-nephew Callan Rhodes of Maquoketa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
