Albert "Bert" Calvin Anderson

Mr. Albert “Bert” Calvin Anderson, 64, of Elon, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2023 at the Hospice Home in Burlington surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Catawba County, NC to the late Calvin Anderson and Virginia Gray Nelson.   

Bert retired after 20 years as a Technician for Spectrum and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, listening to Rock and Roll and was proud to be a third-degree black belt in Isshinryu. Most of all, Bert loved to spend time with his family and friends. 

Bert is survived by his daughters, Rachel Andrews and husband T.R., Alisa Jasmine Roberts, and Olive Joslyne Valentin and husband Hector; loving partner of 15 years, Angela Ball; stepson, Kyils Ball; grandchildren, Piper, Paityn, Oziah, Drexel, Vincent, Galilee Grace, Helena, and Bijoux; sister, Donna Anderson; and brothers, Roger Anderson and wife Lea and Randy Anderson and wife Danette.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Calvin Anderson and Virginia Gray Nelson as well as his wife; Kimberly Anderson. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:15PM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Alamance Memorial Park with military honors.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 at Lowe Funeral Home prior to processing to the cemetery for the graveside service.
