Barbara Flowers Anderson, age 88, of Hanahan, SC, passed away peacefully at NHC HealthCare in Charleston, SC on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
She was born in Florence, SC on March 13, 1937, to the late Foster Lamar Flowers and Meleta Lee Flowers.
Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Randall Anderson Sr. They were married for 68 years. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her three elder brothers: Lamar, William and Marvin Flowers.
She was a faithful member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Hanahan, SC.
Barbara dedicated over 50 years being self employed as a beautician. She worked a lot of hours from early morning to late at night to make sure all her lifelong clients got their hair done. She was a wonderful wife and mother, who loved her husband, son and his wife and step-grandson. Her love and guidance to her family will be cherished forever.
She is survived by her son, Randy Anderson, and wife Lisa and step-grandson, Tyler Gregory.
A double service will be held in Florence, SC, at Florence National Cemetery, with her husband at a later date.
