Albert Robert Bielke

Albert Robert Bielke, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 93. He was born on May 17, 1930 to parents, Albert and Amparo Bielke.
Albert grew up on his parent's farm in Brownsville, Texas with his two half-brothers, Willie and Philip.
After graduating from El Jardin High School in 1948, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Albert proudly served in the U.S. 1st Marine Division during the Korean War and received The Korean Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. For Albert's heroism during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, he also received the Presidential Unit Citation /United Nations Ribbon.
Upon returning from Korea, he married Consuelo Villarreal on August 14, 1951. In 1952, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps and went to work for Model Industrial Uniform Service as a Routeman, and later as General Manager in Corpus Christi, Texas. Albert and Consuelo had five children.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Consuelo, and his sons, Albert R. Jr. and Carl E. Bielke. He is survived by his sons, Charles R. Bielke and Michael D. Bielke; his daughter, Margaret M. Dillingham; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
