Albert Camillo Jr. 1942 – 2025
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Albert Camillo Jr., who departed this life peacefully in Tampa Florida on May 16, 2025, at the age of 83. A beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to all who knew him. Albert's warmth, strength, and sarcastic sense of humor touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Anna Camillo and is survived by his brother Ricky Camillo and his three loving children: Albert Camillo, Anthony Camillo, and Nancy Camillo, who he shared with Antoinette Camillo. He was a devoted father, always ready with guidance, a story, or standing by and helping his children through the challenging times of their lives. He is preceded in death by his cherished son, Dominic Camillo, whose memory Albert carried with him always.
Albert was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and one great grandchild (Mason). He is survived by Victoria, Amaiya, Adam, and Joe Camillo, Bella, Daniel and is reunited in eternal peace with his grandson, Nicholas Camillo.
Albert had a deep love for baseball and football and his favorite team the St. Louis Cardinals and the football team Philadelphia Eagles. In his healthier years, he enjoyed morning walks along the beach down in Wildwood NJ and more recent Clearwater Beach Florida. He was notorious for making friends with everyone in CVS, Walgreens and all his doctor's offices where he would bring them food and stop by just to talk and see how they are doing. His legacy is one of humor, love, and devotion to those he loved. His sarcasm and warm presence will be missed beyond words but remembered with every smile and every story retold.
