Albert Wilson Cunningham, Jr.

July 13, 1959 – January 26, 2026

Albert Wilson Cunningham, Jr. was born on July 13, 1959, and passed peacefully on January 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and quiet strength that will forever live on through all who knew him.

Albert was an extraordinary husband, father, brother, and grandfather; roles he cherished above all else. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Albert Wilson Cunningham, Sr., and Jesus Cunningham, whose love and guidance helped shape the man he became. Albert was the devoted husband of Mary Cunningham, and together they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. He was a proud and loving father to his daughter Nadia Cunningham, and her husband Maurice; his son Albert Wilson Cunningham III, and his wife Tysheka; and his son Nathan Cunningham, and his wife Brenda. His children were his pride, and he poured wisdom, guidance, and unconditional love into each of them.

Albert was a proud and joyful grandfather to Dejia, Soleil, Albert IV, Ava, Isaiah, Isaac, Juliette, and Nathan Jr. His grandchildren were his greatest treasures, bringing him endless joy, laughter, and purpose. He embraced his role as “PawPaw” with patience, humor, and a heart full of love.

Known for his warm spirit and genuine kindness, Albert never met a stranger. Anytime he encountered someone, he would stop, speak, and make them feel seen and valued. Conversations with him were never rushed; he believed every person mattered and deserved respect. He always brought the party and conversations.

Albert was a dedicated Master Mason and a proud member of True Square Lodge #108. Freemasonry was not simply an affiliation, but a reflection of his character—brotherhood, integrity, charity, and service guided the way he lived his life.

The most generous and loving man, Albert gave freely of himself without expectation. His presence brought comfort, his words brought wisdom, and his actions spoke louder than any title he ever held.

Scriptural & Spiritual Closing

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:21

We take comfort in knowing that Albert’s earthly labor is complete and his spirit now rests in peace. Though we grieve his absence, we rejoice in the assurance that love never ends and that those who walk in faith are welcomed home. His light continues to shine through his family, his brethren, and all whose lives he touched. Until we meet again, his memory remains a blessing, and his love endures forever.
