A proud resident of Hollywood for 52 years, Al originally came from Mamaroneck, New York. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane M. DiPaolo (Baird), who passed away in 2005. He is survived by his son, Albert Jr., and daughter-in-law, Amie; his grandson, Ian DiPaolo; and his nephew, Pete Magnotta, and wife, Scarlett.
Al will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering kindness. An avid reader and thoughtful mentor, he had a gift for conversation and a quiet strength that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A ceremony will be held at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on June 23, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 21475, St. Petersburg, FL 33742.
