Alberto "Albert" Villanueva Hernandez, age 42, passed away on Sunday morning, September 7, 2025, at Parkland Health Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Albert was born on May 6, 1983, at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and spent most of his life in Dallas, Texas. A 2002 graduate of Walnut Springs High School, Albert was a natural athlete who excelled in football, basketball, and golf, earning recognition as a five time Player of the Week during his high school years. He attended ITT Technical Institute and later built a career as a forklift certified driver and freight handler for transportation companies across the DFW area. Albert was charismatic, confident, and deeply loved by those around him. He had a lifelong passion for sports, cars, grilling, and watching scary movies. He developed a special appreciation for golf, which led to a memorable encounter with then President George W. Bush in August of 2001 at a local golf course. He was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Walnut Springs during high school and found joy in being part of something larger than himself. Albert was a proud supporter of the University of Texas Longhorns, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Mavericks. Of all his accomplishments, Albert was most proud of his daughter, Annalise. She was his greatest motivation in life, and he loved nothing more than spending time with her. His warm heart and humor were matched only by his deep appreciation for food. Albert did not just like a good meal, he truly loved food, and he shared that love with those closest to him. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Annalise, and her mother, Jeanette Hernandez; his father, Ambrose Hernandez; sister, Felicia Mesa; brother, Isaac Stolar, numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and extended family members who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother, Belen Stolar; Reynaldo "Ray" Villanueva, Dr. Isaac Stolar, Papa Mesa, Eliazer "Nene" Couret, Rafael "Ralph" Couret, Fay Mart inez, Rafael Couret, and Bennanico "Ben-Ben" Rosales. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Albert's memory to the American Diabetes Association. Albert will be remembered for his confidence, humor, and larger-than-life personality, but most of all for his devotion to his daughter and his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
