Albert N. Knapp Sr., 90, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away November 19, 2025. He was born on April 27, 1935. He is preceded in death by his wife, YuVonne Knapp; parents, Alexander Knapp and Mildred (Scott) Knapp; and son, Rick Knapp; mother in law, Emma Bell (Knipp) Nolen.
Survived by children, Sheila (John) Young, Albert Jr. (Dollie) Knapp, Rodney (Amy) Knapp Sr.; daughter in law, Deborah (Marty Laney) Knapp; grandchildren, Deanna Vance (Jim Freshour), David (Mandy) Deems, John (Tonya) Young, Sharyn (Matt) Wilt, Fred (Melody) Paas Knapp, Rodney Knapp Jr., and Alexandra Knapp; great grandchildren, Kaylee and Landon Vance, Devin and Ethan Deems, Marissa Young, Alexandra Hoyt, Anthony Wolfe, Madison Wilt, Alicia (Jake) Beever, and Alexis (Gage) Norton; great great grandchildren, Jessie Wilt, Noah Beever, Luke Beever, Bane and Blake Norton.
He lived his life in service to God, his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, Monday, November 24, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am, Monday, November 24, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, Ohio.
