Albert Carl Krueger, 74, of Blackduck, MN, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 5, 2026 after a hard battle with ALS surrounded by his loving family.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Blackduck, MN with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Blackduck, MN at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck, MN.

Albert was born on March 7, 1951 in Bemidji, MN to Donald and Audrey (Bergren) Krueger. He graduated with the class of 1969 from Blackduck High School. Albert became a dairy farmer after high school, eventually attending tech school in Wadena for plumbing. He was a Master Plumber and a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 11 and worked for various contractors, retiring from plumbing in 2012. He then continued to help on Little Timber farm. Albert lived on the farm near Blackduck all his life. He was baptized into the faith in April of 1951 at Holy Trinity Lutheran in Blackduck, MN where he was a life long member and later a trustee. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. Albert was also a passionate cribbage player and a weekend plumber for all who needed help. His thoughtfulness and kindness will be tremendously missed by those who loved him

Albert is survived by his brother, Donald Roger (Debbie) Krueger; nieces and nephews, Rachel (Al) Gray, Chris (Amy) Nord, Brian (Erin) Krueger, Tammi (Travis) Lindberg, and Lisa (Jon) Holliday; his great nieces and nephews, Nick (Mackenzie) Grundmeier, Andrew (Sydney) Grundmeier, Tanner and Trapper Depew, Peter, Mollie, Joe and Ashley Lindberg, Emma and Jack Nord, and Sam, Joanna, Eliza, Bennett, and Evie Krueger; his great great niece and great great nephews, Audrey, Jaxon, and Gunnar Grundmeier; his brother-in-law, Murl Nord; his aunts, Doris Krueger and Margaret Walker; and many other loved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Audrey Krueger; his sisters, Sue Nord and Patti Krueger; and his great nephews, Tucker Depew and James Lindberg
