Albert Earl Latiker Sr.

Albert Earl Latiker Sr. entered heaven on October 20,2025 at the age of 75. Albert was born August 03, 1950, in Goodman, Mississippi he became a lifelong resident of New Orleans in 1966. He attended Long Creek Elem. and High School before going to Pivot Job Corps where he obtained his Culinary Arts Certification, which allowed him to become Chef Al. Albert is survived by his companion Sharon Brooks; children Javonda Massey, Albert Latiker Jr and Jamel Brown; stepchildren Shavonda and Terrance Brooks Sr, Yeaquanna Smoot and Mashika Fant; siblings Mae, Brenda, Mckinley and Timothy Rockett; 9 grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Annie Rockett and Cleveland Latiker; maternal and paternal grandparents, brothers Bobbie and Lorenzo Latiker and Johnathan Rockett; stepfather Joethan Rockett; stepsons Early and Tommy Brooks. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, November 7, 2025, for 1:30 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126.
