He is survived by his beloved wife Ella (Babcock) Barras; son, Albert "Daniel" Lee, III; stepchildren and spouses, Christine Robinson & George, Marie Barras, Vince Barras & Racquel, and Eileen Egeland & John; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, generations of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his first wife, Frances Lee, and two daughters, Michelle Lee and Stacia Lee.
Son of the late Albert & Madeline (Malo) Lee, Al was born, raised and educated in Chelsea. Following high school graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, and proudly served our nation for more than twenty-five years before retiring as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army National Guard. Throughout his prestigious military career Al was the recipient of numerous awards and citations for valor and meritorious service. Above all, Al was a devoted family man who will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at Bourne at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com
