Albert A. Marks Sr., 86, of Roseville, died at 7:45 A.M. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at his home, following a long battle with cancer. He was born March 12, 1938, in Athens County, Ohio, a son of the late Acie and Clara (Truman) Marks. He was a United States Navy Veteran, father, and skilled construction worker.
Albert is survived by his son, Albert Marks Jr.; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; four sisters, Evelyn, Norma, Gladys and Shirley; and the mother of his children, Wilma Marks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Melinda Marks; and his brother Virgil Marks.
The family will hold private visitation and graveside services. All arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved daughter Melinda at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville, with Celebrant Lindsay Michel officiating.
