Albert Melton Obituary
Mr. Melton was born on October 23, 1938, in Blythewood, S.C. Hew was owner/operator of Cedric Fish and Chips, A&W Rootbeer Drive Inn, and AL Melton Roofing Company. He also officiated basketball and football for the fifth district of South Carolina for 36 years.
Albert was a loving father and friend who will be missed by all. He was lovingly and happily married to Goldie A. Melton from June 5, 1959, until her passing in November. He graduated from Mount Zion in Winnsboro and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is survived by his son, Michael Melton; daughter, Cheryl Melton; and brother, James "Jimmy" Melton.
In addition to his parents, Willis W. Melton and Katie B. Melton, Albert is predeceased by his sister, Katie B. Melton; and brothers, Willis "Dickie" Lewis Melton and David Lee Melton.
