Albert Martin Myers was born on September 7, 1936 in Gaines, Michigan to Carlton and Helen (Conroy) Myers. Al served in the United States Army having received his Honorable Discharge on April 30, 1963 having obtained the rank of Private First Class. He married Janet Lillywhite on April 9, 1960. A longtime resident of Webberville, Michigan, Al moved to Lincoln, Texas two years ago to be closer to his daughter and her family. He worked as a tool and die maker, retiring after 30 plus years from the Demmer Corp in Lansing, Michigan. Al enjoyed doing anything outdoors including hunting, fishing and camping. In the last few years, he spent more time reading and shooting pool.
Al passed away the morning of Thursday, October 23, 2025 in Lincoln, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Helen Myers; his wife, Janet Myers; his daughter, Debra Fry; two brothers, Floyd Myers and Thomas Myers and his wife, Janet, and his sister, Lavonne Smith & her husband, Smitty.
Al is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel & Leeanne Myers of Dansville, Michigan; his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry & Robert Zoch of Lincoln, Texas; three grandchildren, Jacob Zoch & his wife, Meredyth of Lincoln, Texas, Jason Fry & his wife, Rebecca of Plano, Texas, and Nathaniel Myers of Webberville, Michigan; his brother, Jack Myers & his wife, Karon of Durand, Michigan as well as several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Al's wishes, no public services will be held.
Memorials may be made to the Williamston Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Williamston, Michigan or to the charity of one's choice.
