Albert Nigh Obituary
Surviving Albert are his daughters, Lucretia (Robert Powell) Nigh of Hancock, MD, Rebecca Nigh of Fostoria, Rhonda Nigh of Fostoria and Shirley Samolis of Perrysburg, brother Terry (Roberta) Nigh, sisters Donna (Dick) Clark, Janet Oltmans, Carol Light, Sharon Siedlecki, Patsy (Ralph) Salmon, Susan (Norman) Demski and Kathy Wheeler, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, son Benny Nigh, brothers Ronnie, Robert and Melvin Nigh, sister Nancy Gammon, and granddaughters Patricia "PJ" Standley and Ariel Nigh.
Albert was a former member of West Millgrove Fire Department, and he belonged to the VFW in Toledo, Ohio. He worked for Ottawa Rubber in Bradner, part time at Avina Auction and was a handyman in his community.
Friends will be received from 5-8 pm on Thursday February 19, 2026, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio. Graveside services will be held on Friday February 20, 2026, at 12:30 pm at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park in Ottawa Hills, Ohio. Memorial donations can be made to the Nigh Family. Online condolences can be sent to Alberts family at www.barndtfuneralhome.org.
