Albert Pipino Obituary

Published by D'Anjolell Stigale Memorial Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of Aston on Apr. 27, 2021.
Albert Pipino Jr., 77, Aston resident, Optician at Springfield Opticians, died April 27 peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Loving husband of Anna (nee Contino) for 55 years. Al worked in the optical field since he was 19, and as an Optician for the past 50 years. He was employed for the last 26 years by Springfield Opticians, his work family, until he fell ill in early March. "Big Al" loved spending time with his family and friends and was the life of the party. You could be sure at any wedding he would be the dance leader for the song "Shout" and would always "get lower now" to the floor. His motto was God, then family, then friends. Al loved taking long walks around the track, reclining in the sun with a good cigar, taking leisurely rides in his blue convertible, and spending vacations with his family in Ocean City, NJ. He is predeceased by his mother Anna (Pastorino), father Albert Sr., and sister Rita D'Antuono and her husband Joe. He is survived by his wife Anna, sons Michael (Beth) and Stephen, and daughter Nicole Simpson (John); his grandchildren Zachary, Chelsea, Reese, Jake, Ryan, AJ, Sam, Lili, and Ava; brother Tom (Betty), sister Sandy Riggio (Joe); sister-in-law Tina Goldberg (Bob), as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He also leaves behind his Springfield Opticians family. Viewing Sunday May 2nd 6-8pm at D'Anjolell Stigale Memorial Home at 3260 Concord Rd., Aston, PA, 19014, Monday 8:30-9:30am at funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014. Donations in Al's name to Church of St. Joseph 3255 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014. or to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation www.themmrf.org are welcome.

I never met Albert personally, however I heard great things about him and from the photos shared, I sensed a great and loving spirit. I pray that his family will find comfort in remembering the good and happy times with him; his smile his laugh and the memories he shared with so many.

May your faith in God keep you covered and may God set you free from your grief.

In God’s grace

I am so very sad to learn of Uncle Al’s illness and passing. I was lucky to know him as he was a such a warm, loving, caring and fun person especially to his dear family and close friends. My heart and prayers are with you all.

With much love and comfort ~ Gina

I couldn't even begin to speak to all the memories because they cover a lifetime. It certainly was my good fortune to have without a doubt the greatest of all uncle's a kid could ask for.
