Albert Poole
Beloved Husband, Father, Papaw, Brother, and Karaoke DJ
Albert Poole, a man known for his love of music, his deep devotion to family, and his unforgettable presence behind the karaoke mic, passed away surrounded by loved ones. His life was a testament to joy, compassion, and the magic of a well-loved song shared with friends and family.
Albert was more than a Karaoke DJ - he was the heart and soul of every gathering, using music to bring people together and create lifelong memories. Whether belting out a tune or encouraging others to sing their hearts out, Albert's passion was contagious.
He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Angela (Linthicum) Poole, whose companionship was the center of his world. As a father and papaw, Albert poured his heart into his family. He is survived by his children:
• Christy Keene (James Keene) and grandsons Walker Hendrickson (Larissa Hendrickson) and Corbin Keene
• Amber Clark (Russ White) and granddaughters Alexis Nalley, Breona Nalley, Lana White, Rowen White, and Evelynn Wessell
• Daniel Collins and grandson Beau Collins
• Jeremy Reich (Hannah DeGenova Reich) and granddaughter Riley DeGenova Reich
Albert's love extended beyond his immediate family. He was a caring brother to Sally Kathary and John Poole, a beloved son-in-law to Velda Fisher, and a favorite uncle to his many nieces and nephews, all of whom treasured his humor, warmth, and larger-than-life personality. He also shared a close bond with his sister-in-law Wendy Hedrick (Troy Deckard), whose love and friendship were deeply cherished.
Albert shared a special connection with his dog, Mia, his faithful companion. And anyone who knew him knew of his appreciation for life's simple pleasures - especially a good, fresh Indiana tomato, which he enjoyed with the same enthusiasm he brought to every part of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Martha (Byrer) Poole and Donald Poole, as well as his sister Donna Faith (Poole) and brother Andrew Poole.
Albert leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and music that will echo in the hearts of all who knew him. His family and friends will always remember his big heart, his bigger voice, and the joy he found in bringing people together.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 24th at Allen Funeral Home, with visitation from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery. All are welcome to attend, share stories, and honor the man who made the world a little brighter - one song (and one tomato) at a time.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the headstone fund to help honor Albert's memory. The headstone will be a bench - a place to sit, reflect, and smile - where he will be 'waiting on a woman.'

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
