Albert Gonzalo Revilla

REVILLA, Albert Gonzalo, passed from death into life in Christ Jesus early March 5, 2011 at his home in Stevens Cove, Lovingston, Va. Albert was born February 3, 1928 in Imboden, Va., to Ramon and Grace Revilla. Surviving him are his wife of 54 years, Charlotte Stevens Revilla of Lovingston, Va.; his four children, Albert Jr. of Bangor, Maine, Ramon (Mary) of Williamston, N.C., Suzanne Fogg (Thomas) of Richmond, Va., and Linda Christopher (Alan) of Lovingston, Va.; six grandchildren, Matthew and Kaitlyn Revilla, Andrew, Sara, and Jacob Fogg and Grace Christopher. He is also survived by four siblings, Lola Kent of Michigan, Charles (Erna) Revilla of Texas, Martin Revilla of Virginia, Gale (Ruth) Revilla of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews. Albert served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II. He attended Emory and Henry College and graduated in math and physics (1953). He had a successful career as a contract administrator in Northern Virginia until his retirement in 1993. Through the years, he faithfully served his Lord at the churches he attended as Deacon, Sunday School Director and servant. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Wells Sheffield Funeral Chapel, 838 Front St., Lovingston, Va., with Rev. Dr. Mike Fitzgerald officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the family cemetery.
