Albert George "Al Babe" Rodriguez, 93, of Denver, passed away on January 2, 2026.
Albert was born on April 23, 1932, in Brighton, Colorado, to Vicente and Isabel Rodriguez. He grew up in Torrington, Wyoming, where he graduated from high school, and later earned his degree from the University of Wyoming in 1954.
Albert worked as a pharmacist for 47 years. He enjoyed balancing time with his wife, his sons, and many friends, and he took a keen interest in world history and in sports- especially football, with a particular fondness for Denver- and Laramie-based teams.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen Teresa Rodriguez; his sons, Michael Anthony Rodriguez and David Scott Rodriguez; his brother, Frank Rodriguez; his daughter-in-law, Jamie Wray Rodriguez; and his grandchildren, Tegan Michael Rodriguez, Avery Isabel Rodriguez, and Sierra Alejandra Rodriguez.
Service information will be announced by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions the family asks that you do something nice for yourself.
