Albert Eugene Shedlock, 92, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, and is finally at home with his loving wife. He was born May 22, 1933, in Slickville, the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Haluska) Shedlock. Albert was an Airforce Veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a longest Standing Living Member of the Slickville American Legion. Albert loved spending time with his family. Albert dedicated his career to servicing all the McDonald's ice cream machines across many states prior to his retirement.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ann Shedlock, and all his siblings.
Albert will be deeply missed by his daughters, Cyndi (Tom) Stuart of Naples Florida, Sue (Fred) Salo of King George Virginia, Kimberly (Shawn) Fink of Greensburg, sister-in law's, Barbara Blazek, Audrey Wright, and many nieces and nephews.
Albert was a proud loving grandfather and great-grandfather to Angela Kachonik, David Casteel, Courtney Fink, Jake Fink, Gia Simmons, Dawson Casteel, who he loved dearly.
Family and friends will be received from 10am-12pm, Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Vaia Funeral Home Inc., 463 Athena Dr. Delmont, Pa 15626, (724-468-1177), followed by a service for Albert at 12pm in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Albert's memory may be made to the Slickville American Legion, PO Box 166, Slickville, PA 15684
