Albert Walter Skinner

Albert Walter Skinner, age 100 years and 3 months, peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 15, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. A century of life, rich with love and devotion, Al was a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, uncle, friend, and neighbor, whose wisdom and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Born on January 15, 1925, Al lived through five generations, witnessing profound moments in history and building a legacy rooted in honor and compassion. His quiet strength, stubbornness and warm spirit brought comfort, laughter, and stability to his family and friends.
Al was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty, his daughter Crystal, his son Donald, and his grandson Michael. Though their absence was deeply felt, he carried their memory and love with him always.
Al is survived by a large and loving family, as well as many dear friends and neighbors who celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the values he passed on to each of them. He is lovingly remembered and survived by his daughter Cheryl (son-in-law Rick); his younger sister, Bonnie; his daughter-in-law Janice (widow of his late son Donald); and his son-in-law Daniel (widower of his late daughter Crystal). He is also lovingly remembered and survived by five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and nineteen great-great-grandchildren, along with his cherished nieces and nephews. His legacy of love, faith, and family lives on as they carry forward the stories, traditions, and values he so generously shared with each of them.
