MILLBURY - Albert F. Tebbetts passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8th surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Maria (DeSimone) Tebbetts. Father of Thomas J. Tebbetts of Alexandria, VA and Albert F. Tebbetts Jr. and his wife Debbie of Ellington, CT. Grandfather of Samantha White and her husband Bill, Al Tebbetts, Matthew Tebbetts, and Olivia Tebbetts.
Brother of Robert Tebbetts and his wife Julie and his sister Eleanor Barnard and her husband Fred. He was predeceased by his sister Ann Marie “Nan” Zvanovec and his brother William Tebbetts. Loved by many nieces, nephews and others whose lives he touched.
Al was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His family was his passion and brought him great joy. He was a teacher in the Boston public school system for 38 years. If he wasn’t outside enjoying the weather, you could find him watching sports or more often, reading a book.
Family and friends will honor and remember Al’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, June 21st from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury, MA. His funeral service will be celebrated on the same day at 12:30 p.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury.
