Albert Thomas

Albert Lee Thomas, 52, of Thomasville, passed away on Tuesday – November 4, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home on Friday – November 7, 2025 at 4:00 pm with Pastor Ken Burgess and Jason Keyton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Honorary Pallbearers are Joey Bernard, Mark Jones, Ken Watson, Jeff Likins, Allen Chastain, and Eddie Vick.

Albert was born in Thomasville, GA, on April 6, 1973 to Betty Hollinger King. He worked for Bob & Jeff's IGA for 23 years and later moved on to working for Ag-Pro. Albert leaves behind a trail of laughter and a few questionable fishing tails that will live on forever. He was a one-of-a-kind, forgiving person with genuine curiosity about the lives of those he loved, always supportive, and always cheering on family and friends. He had a rare ability to make everyone feel welcomed. Whether you knew him for five minutes or five years, you probably heard him crack a joke, offer you a hand, or both. He never met a stranger. He was an animal lover of every kind or any creature that needed love and attention. Albert will always be remembered for his big and kind heart. He will forever be missed and loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by; his wife, Kelly Thomas of Thomasville, his son, Isaiah Peppers of Thomasville, an aunt, Frances Tidwell of Hahira, GA, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sherry & Randall Hargraves of Thomasville, siblings, Mary Harris of Bainbridge, GA, and Ricky Sapp of Louisville, GA, and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by; his mother, Betty Hollinger King and his stepfather, Melvin King.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Thomas County Humane Society.
