Maxine Brady Smith, 75, of Thomasville, died October 25, 2025 at Pruitt Health in Moultrie, GA. Born August 18, 1950 in Cairo, GA, she was a daughter of the late George Franklin Brady and Lois Mable Rogers Brady. She married Michael O'Neal Smith in 1982 in Thomasville, GA . He preceded her in death on June 1, 2011. Maxine was a fun, loving, caring woman whose heart and home were always open to others.She was a member of World of Truth Tabernacle. A devoted wife and mother, she took pride in creating a place filled with laughter, comfort and love. Her kindness touched everyone who knew her and she had a way of making everyone feel like family. Maxine is survived by her children, Johnny (Catherine) and Donnie (Rebecca); grandchildren, JD (Jordin), Donnie Jr., Hayley (Gage), Taylor (Dillan), Alicia (Alek) RJ, Mason, Marshall and Shawn; great-grandchildren, Lukas, Carsen, Penelope, Dalton, Liam, Elliott, Oaklyn, Noah, Lake Maddox and Wesley. She is also survived by brothers, Larry and Dennis; sisters, Lowaner, Linda, Diane (Phillip) and Diane (Bryant). Maxine was also preceded in death by brothers, Gerald, Junior, Billy and a sister Georgia Nell, along with a great grandson Lane Champ. The family will receive friends Monday, October 27 from 6 to 8pm at the funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday in the chapel of Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home.
