Northfield - Albert Warner, age 89 of Northfield, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at Three Links Care Center in Northfield.

Albert Bernard Warner was born January 22, 1936, in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Clarence and Helen (Hurdlik) Warner. He was raised on the family farm, baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, attended District 14 Country School and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1954. After his education he worked for a short time as grocery clerk and later as a printer for Joston's. He married Elaine Kubat on August 31, 1957, at Little Missal Catholic Church in rural Owatonna. After married he continued to work at Joston's. In 1968, they moved to their home in Bridgewater Township and began Warner Tree Service. During the winter months Albert worked as a printer for Star Printing. In 1978, they sold the tree service and Albert went to work as a landscaper for St. Olaf College - retiring in 2001.

Albert was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and Knight's of Columbus. He enjoyed being outdoors, landscaping, flowers and participating in Saddle Club with his wife and family.

Survivors include his 3 children: Kathleen and (Rollo) Hohrman of Castle Rock, Daniel (Suzy Palmquist) of Cannon City, David (Tammie) of Northfield; 3 grandchildren, Alex, Shawn and Dylan; 5 sisters, Alice Story, Margaret (John) Palan, Mary Ann Cowing, Judy Anderson, Carolyn Duncan; one brother, Dennis; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; parents; and his brother William.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at the Church of St. Dominic in Northfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church and a reception will follow. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Owatonna, following the reception.
