Albert "Al" Yingst

Albert "Al" Yingst, 86, of Morganton, NC passed away on Tuesday October 14, 2025, at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. He was the husband of the late Blanche E. "Eva" Yingst, who passed away in 2013.
Al was born in Palmyra on October 16, 1938, to the late Robert and Stella (Yingst) Sonon. He was an Air Force Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. Al was a computer specialist in the Air Force and was a small engine mechanic. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, boating, camping, and woodworking.
Surviving are his children, Lori A. Mann of Smithfield, NC, Albert L. Yingst (Leslie) of Pensacola, FL, Mary S. Evans of Chattahoochee, FL, Carol L. Anderson of Morganton, NC, Scott A. Yingst of Deland, FL, 12 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 11:00AM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon. There will be a viewing from 10:30AM until 11:00AM at the funeral home.
