Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, and Grandmother
Alberta M. Cavallo, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025. Born in Newark, NJ, Alberta was the daughter of the late Albert and Gilda V. (Miano) Molinari. Alberta was a Cosmotologist who specialized as a hair colorist. Over the years she owned several hair salons. Her first was Salon Don Chante located in Maplewood. Her second was Prime Time Hair Cutters located in Fairfield and her last was the Hair and Nail Biz located in Bloomfield. She was a certified colorist for Wella and Majirel by L'Oreal. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Cavallo whom she was married to for 58 years. Alberta is survived by her children Dr. Joseph L. Cavallo and his wife Tina and Janine Cavallo, her sister Leslie Auriemma, and one grandchild Chloe Cavallo. Her children remember her as a devoted wife and mother. They recall all the wonderful times they had together as a family and how their mother made each day special. Alberta was also a devote Catholic. Daily prayers, rosaries and church attendance was part of her everyday life.
The funeral will be Saturday, November 8, 2025, 10:00AM from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
The entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday, November 7th from 5:00PM – 8:00PM.
