Alberta Evelyn Tarr (Chandler-Hudson), known to her loved ones as Alberta, peacefully passed away on October 25, 2023, in Chiefland, Florida, at the age of 89. She was born on April 11, 1934, in Michell, Indiana.

Orphaned at age 5 with her little brother William "Bill" Tarr, she grew to be a beloved wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Dan Hudson, and her children, Rhonda and Roger Chandler and many grand and great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her eldest daughter Reva Jean Chandler and her brother Bill. Her kind and gentle soul touched the lives of all who knew her. She always remained humble and sweet, preferring to stay away from the limelight. Her quiet nature and loving demeanor endeared her to everyone she met. She will be forever missed.

In her career, spanned everything from working the assembly line on the first RCA color TV, to restaurant management, to elderly care taker. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family, as she selflessly provided support and compassion to those in need.

Outside of her work, Alberta found joy in various hobbies, including reading, sewing, crocheting and cooking. These activities allowed her to express her creativity and bring happiness to those around her.

In memory of Alberta Evelyn Chandler-Hudson, contributions can be made to Haven Hospice in Chiefland, Florida. Your generosity will support their vital work in providing compassionate care to individuals and families during difficult times.

Alberta's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones. She leaves behind a profound impact and a lifetime of cherished memories. May she rest in eternal peace.
