Alberto Nestor Hernandez of Central Falls passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on the morning of August 20, 2025. Mr. Nestor was 57 years old. He was the beloved husband of Rosa Benitez.

Alberto was born on March 10, 1968, in Hidalgo, Mexico and was the son of Ignacio Nestor and Hilaria Hernandez. He came to the United States in 1996, settling in Central Falls where he and his wife made a home and raised a beautiful family. A natural and tireless work ethic, Mr. Nestor refused to take a vacation as he had a passion for working as a landscaper. He was an incredible provider and role model to his 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren, who absolutely adored him. He was always doing something, never staying still for too long.

Some of his passions included running and boxing. Alberto kept it plain and simple, maintaining a quiet and happy life with his family. He enjoyed the little things, such as his morning coffee and bread. Most of all he enjoyed his family and will be remember as a magnificent husband, Dad and grandfather.

In addition to his wife Brendan, Alberto Nestor Hernandez is survived by his beloved daughters, Brendan Nestor, Erica Nestor and Rosa Nestor. He was the proud grandfather of Mario Nestor, Tiffany Benitez, Giovanni Bentiez, William Falcon, Jesus Falcon, Kaitlin Falcon, Arnold Falcon and Jason Ventura. Alberto is survived by his brothers and sisters, Hilario Nestor, Mario Nestor, Felix Nestor, Nicholas Nestor, Jorge Nestor, Honoria Nestor, Delia Nestor and Paola Nestor.

A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held in Holy Spirit Parish 1030 Dexter St. in Central Falls at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls.
