Alberto L. Johnson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alberto L. Johnson, who left us on Friday, May 2, 2025. Born on November 29, 1952, in Port Limon, Costa Rica, he was the beloved husband of Valerie Johnson and the cherished son of Ines H. Beechman and the late Albert "Jack" Johnson.
Alberto moved to Stamford, CT, at the age of 14 and made it his home for the remainder of his life. He was a proud graduate of Stamford High School, where he built lifelong friendships and later attended Norwalk Community College. He was a skilled tool and die maker, known for his precision, craftsmanship, and strong work ethic. Alberto worked at Pitney Bowes for 30 years and later at Omega Engineering for 8 years.
Alberto had a big personality and a gift for making people smile. Whether through a well-timed joke or a kind gesture, he brought joy to those around him and left a lasting impression wherever he went. His grandchildren were a source of great pride and happiness, and he treasured every moment with them.
He is survived by his loving wife, his children and grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, and his devoted mother and stepfather. He also leaves behind many extended family members and close friends who will miss him dearly and remember him with love.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th, from 10am to 1pm at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave in Stamford, Connecticut, followed by a repast at St. Matthew Church Reception Hall in Norwalk, Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bennett Cancer Center in his honor.
