Albie J. Antimary

Obituary
A lifelong resident of North Versailles, age 67, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, May 4, 2023.
Albie was the beloved husband of Loretta (Anderchak) Antimary for 45 years and the loving and treasured father of A. J. (Lauryn) Antimary and Lindsay Antimary, all of North Versailles.
He was the brother of Frank (Pam) Antimary of MD., and the uncle of Craig (Lisa) Anderchak of GA., Christopher Antimary and his son, Jaden of Philadelphia and Frankie Antimary and his daughter, Giavanna of MD.
Albie was the Godfather of Joey Tucci and Justin Likar.
Albie now joins his late devoted pet canine, Bella.
Albie was a 1973 graduate of East Allegheny High School and, nearly a year after graduation, he became a full time employee of the East Allegheny School District. His E.A. career as a groundskeeper spanned over 40 years until his retirement. In addition to being an employee of E.A., he also was a volunteer and equipment manager for all of the E.A. sports teams and performed various tasks and duties to make sure teams, fields and courts were ready for their games and matches.
Albie also volunteered in serving his community. He was a member and former Vice President of the North Versailles Sewer Authority and a member of the Democratic Committee of North Versailles.
Friends are welcome on Sunday from 1-5pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800) where a Blessing Service will be held on Sunday at 5 p.m.
Albie will be laid to rest privately in Grandview Cemetery.
