Alcornelius Rudolph Sr. 78 of Asbury Park, N.J. passed away at Manor by the Sea Nursing Home on Thursday evening September 18, 2025. He was born in Chapman Alabama to the late Sterling Rudolph Sr. & Willie Mae Payne.

Alcornelius was predeceased by his wife Hellen T. Rudolph & youngest son Jabo Rudolph. His parents Sterling Rudolph Sr & Willie Mae Payne. His only brother Sterling Rudolph Jr.. His nephew Cornelius (Jake) Rudolph. His oldest niece Georgia May Prince & his granddaughter Natasha Sadé Johnson.

Alcornelius did the best he could with the tools he had to raise his sons. Only having a 3rd grade education. He promised, all his sons would get a high school diploma. Which they did, all graduating from A.P. High School. Rudy, as he was commonly known to friends always had a job as a tire repair men working for large companies like Firestone and finishing his career at Custom Tires in Bradley Beach N.J. where he was employed for 15 years before a serious injury left him unemployable.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his sons Alcornelius & Lolita Rudolph Jr., Donnie & Susan Rudolph Sr. & Jeffery Johnson. His loving and devoted sister Eloise Battle & caring niece Valerie Marshall. His devoted brother in law Leroy Mincie Jr. 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren & a host of family & friends.
