Aldon Michael Vaughn “Mike”, age 73 of Morristown, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at UT Medical Center. Mike was an employee of Lear Seating and a long-time member of Morningside Baptist Church. Mike is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Elsie Vaughn, parents, Aldon and Louise Vaughn and sister, Loraine Vaughn Greene.
Survivors include his son, James “Jimmy” Vaughn and his wife, Jenny, grandsons, Quinton and Zander Vaughn, brothers, David (Carolyn) Vaughn and Allen (Linda) Vaughn, several nieces, nephews and other family members, special friend, Sandy Corey and special neighbor and friend, Justin Kitts.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2024 between the hours of 2:00pm and 4:00pm at Morningside Baptist Church with funeral to follow at 4:00pm in the church, Rev. Kenny Boling and Rev. Harold Noe will be officiating. Military Graveside will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, 11:00am in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations be made to Morningside Baptist Church, ATTN Team Kids, 2202 Chestnut Ave, Morristown, TN 37814
