Alecia Ann Forgette Nation, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. She was born in Rochester, New York to the late Ruby Dale Allen and the late Irving Thomas Forgette, on December 24, 1954.

Preceding Alecia in death are her parents; sister, Donna; daughter, Shalee.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Dennis Nation; daughter, Michae; grandchildren, Lexi and Alex, Robbie and Kati, Dylan, Haley and Jaden, Mason; great grandchildren, Myles, Merritt; son-in-law, Johnny; sister, Linda and Manuel; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Alecia will be remembered as a lover of life and an adventurous spirit with a great sense of humor. She loved to laugh. There wasn't an animal Alecia didn't consider pet friendly. She cared for snakes, goats, and even a pet deer. She also loved horses and was an avid horse rider, participating in competitions and team pinning. Her artwork flourished in drawing, painting, cross stitching, and restoring antiques. She was a beautiful person inside and out.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Antique Acres in Bogart, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ASPCA or Humane Society.

Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
