Aleesha M. McCoy, 40, of Shelby, Ohio, passed away peacefully after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 11, 1985, in Norwalk, Ohio, to Rita (Lindsey) and the late Charles McCoy. She was a 2003 South Central and EHOVE graduate.
Aleesha loved all things outdoors, hunting, fishing, and especially trips to sunny, warm places, like Florida and Texas.
She is survived and missed by her loving companion of 15 years, Patrick Geyer; children, Elizabeth Zidarin, Blake Zidarin, and Alivia Zidarin; mother, Rita (Randy) Ramey; siblings, (twin sister), Akeesha (Jeffrey Grosswiler) McCoy, Amy McCoy, Shawn McCoy, Charlie McCoy Jr., and Clifford (Margie) McCoy.
Aleesha was preceded in death by her grandparents, father, Charles McCoy Sr., and aunts, Lisa and ClaireAnn.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home 98 W. Main St., from 11 am until 1 pm. A funeral service will begin at 1 pm with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Willard to follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
