Alejandro Cruz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lighthouse Family Mortuary - Greeley on Aug. 26, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Alejandro Espinoza Cruz, 50, of Nunn, Colorado, went to be with the Lord on August 20,

2025. He was born on July 29, 1975, in Tlacuitapa, Jalisco, Mexico, to Rigoberto Espinoza

Marquez and Maria Cruz Ramirez.

On January 19, 2015, in Greeley, Colorado, Alejandro married the love of his life, Rosina

Leos Plascencia. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared a lifetime of devotion.

Alejandro was known for his generosity, his strength, and his deep love for his family. He worked

tirelessly to provide for his wife and children, always willing to give of himself to those he cared

about. His unwavering dedication to Rosina and his family was the foundation of his life.

During the day, Alejandro was a hardworking man; in his free time, he fulfilled his dream of

being a rancher, raising horses and sheep on his own land. Beyond his love for the ranch,

Alejandro had a passion for singing, dancing, and bringing joy to others with his constant

smile. His strong faith guided him in every step of his life, and he was known as a man who

lived with deep religious devotion. Nearly every weekend, he could be found on the dance

floor, singing and smiling alongside Rosina, celebrating life with music and faith.

Alejandro is survived by his beloved wife, Rosina Leos Plascencia; his daughter, Joseline

(Miguel) Espinoza; his cherished grandchild, Xavier Mendez Espinoza; his father, Rigoberto

Espinoza Marquez; and his siblings, Anabel, Maricela, Graciela, Patricia, and Raul

Espinoza. He also leaves behind a large extended family who will carry his memory in their

hearts.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Oscar Espinoza Leos and Carlos Alejandro

Espinoza; his brother, Oscar Espinoza; and his mother, Maria Cruz Ramirez.
