Carolyn Alesia Alling (known as "Alesia"), age 65, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away on September 25, 2025, at her home. Alesia was born to William and Johnnie (Guiltner) Stone on December 22, 1959, in Neosho, Missouri, where she remained until graduating from high school.
Alesia later moved to California where she married her husband Richard Alling and started her family. While living in California, Alesia also started her professional studies. She studied Bioscience at Chaffey College in 1994 and later went on to attend Cypress College, where she graduated from the Dental Hygienist program. Alesia became a licensed/registered Dental Hygienist in 2003 and spent her early career days working in California. In time, Alesia and her family moved back to Missouri and settled in the Ozark area, where Alesia continued her career as a Dental Hygienist in the Springfield, Missouri area. Alesia often spoke of how much she loved her work and helping people. When Alesia wasn't working, she enjoyed homemaking, art, being outdoors, and building things. She was passionate about animals and loved spending time near water, whether it be boating on the lake or hanging out oceanside with Rocky, family, and friends.
Alesia was preceded in death by her parents, William and Johnnie Stone; husband, Richard Alling; and daughter, Rachelle Alling.
Alesia spent the last twelve years of her life with her loving husband and is survived by him, Roger ("Rocky") Sweet and four children, Brandon Sweet, Britnee Sweet, Ty Sweet, and Derrick Alling; along with nine grandchildren, several cousins, and many friends who loved her.
Alesia's family will host a visitation on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center in Ozark, Missouri. A Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following her visitation at 2:00 pm. A private burial service with family only will be held at McCoy Cemetery in Ozark, Missouri, following the Celebration of Life.
