Aletha Marie (Anderson) Sands: And Now, The Real Adventure Begins.
Aletha Marie (Anderson) Sands, a woman of unwavering faith, boundless love, and healing hands, passed away peacefully at her home in Lincoln, Nebraska, on February 10th, 2025. She was 65 years old. Surrounded and held by her loving family, Aletha was ushered to her "Greatest Adventure" joining her Heavenly Father after a life devoted to serving Him and others. Born on August 3rd, 1959, in Hastings, Nebraska, to Conrad and Shirley Anderson, Aletha's life was marked by compassion and a deep connection to her faith. Aletha was a daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to many.
Aletha's life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lincoln Berean Church, 6400 S 70th Street, Lincoln. Aletha's family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to those who have offered countless acts of love over the years, months and in her final days. Her husband, Don, and family members will be available to receive your love at the scheduled visitation on Friday, February 14th from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at Lincoln Berean Church. A link to a live stream of the Saturday service will be available at https://lincolnffc.com/ for those that want to honor her life from afar. Memorials are suggested to the Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center and Camp Sonshine.
