Alethea Elizabeth "Betty" Bethke

Alethea Elizabeth Bethke "Betty", 82, of Warminster, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Tel Hai Retirement Community. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Emerson Bethke, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2008.

Born in Doylestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leo John and Alethea Elizabeth Topel.

Betty was a graduate of Central Bucks High School and Waynesburg College, where she was a member of Beta Sigma Omicron sorority. She was an elementary school teacher throughout her career, an avid crafter and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Keri Grintz and her husband Todd of Glenmoore and Nicole Ramsey and her husband Eric of Downingtown; four grandchildren, Adam Grintz, Eric Grintz (Sara), Paige Ramsey and Ellen Ramsey. She was also survived by her sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Shaddinger (John); her niece, Dawn Shaddinger and her nephew, Rich Shaddinger.

Services will be private with the family.
