Alex Fernando Gonzales, age 40, passed away tragically in a motor vehicle accident in the early morning hours on Sunday, October 20, 2024. He was born in Catacamas, Honduras on November 13, 1983 to Maria Hernandez and Servando Gonzalez. He moved to Morristown, New Jersey, with his mother as a teenager where he attended Morristown high school. He later followed his mother and siblings to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. With his entrepreneurial spirit and optimism, he truly lived the American dream. Self-taught in the English language, he focused on gaining more knowledge and skills through hard work. He had a drive and determination to succeed and provide for his family. He was always looking for ways to optimize and improve his life. He became a business owner, AG Services Plus, serving the community and surrounding areas as a contractor focused on remodeling and new construction. He was a member of The Presence of God church and often hosted small groups in his home. As a father, Alex considered his children as one of his greatest achievements. He devoted his life to providing and contributing to their happiness. Alex enjoyed restoring and rebuilding old cars and machinery. His favorite past time was spent in the waters of Louisiana fishing with his mother. He enjoyed spending time with his closest friends watching sporting events. He was known for his playful sarcasm and loyalty. Although a private man, he was known for his unending generosity that could be seen in the care of his family and close his friends. He did not hesitate to be the bone marrow transplant donor for his sister who needed life-saving treatments for leukemia. He often traveled to his home country of Honduras giving back to those in need. Alex is survived by his children, Kaleb and Trinity Gonzalez (Lisa Efferson Gonzalez), Ethan Alexander Gonzalez (Maritza Lara); mother, Maria Hernandez; sister Carmen Yolany and her husband Jorge Guerra, brother Luis Hernandez and his wife Vivian; sister Claudia Loribel Gonzalez and her partner Edwin Pina; brother Edward Gonzalez; sister Sara Gonazlez as well as numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends. Proceeded in death by his father Servando.
Pallbearers will be Edward Gonzalez, Luis Hernandez, Edwin Pina, Jorge Guerra, Raul Rivera and Ivan Castillo.

Nació en Catacamas, Honduras, el 13 de noviembre de 1983, hijo de María Hernández y Servando González. Se mudó a Morristown, Nueva Jersey, con su madre cuando era adolescente.
